WHAT? Free digital literacy training is available at several Helsinki libraries, community meeting areas, senior homes and youth centres. The City of Helsinki’s digital consultants are even available for home visits!
WHO? For all Helsinki residents who need assistance with technology and internet-related issues, or have questions about computers, e-services or the use of digital devices.
WHY? To encourage people to get maximum everyday benefit from digital tools by learning how to use the internet and IT equipment independently. The City of Helsinki’s digital literacy training is confidential and cost-free.
WHEN? Digital literacy training is available during the opening hours of many public facilities, with or without an appointment. Choose from a variety of courses, lectures or one-on-one sessions.
WHERE? Go to digituki.hel.fi to find the nearest English-language digital literacy training location, as well as instructions for arranging private home sessions.
